Our background is in television broadcast - specifically, directing live news broadcasts.
When we began developing our first feature documentary, In the Wake of Giants, we had little completed documentary work that reflected the direction we were taking as filmmakers.

Borrowed Air is our answer to that.
Directed by our Associate Producer, Noemi Merz, and shot by Indonesian cinematographer Prema Ananda, it was filmed in Sumbawa.
As Executive Producers, we worked alongside them on the film’s development and editorial decisions through to the final cut.

Borrowed Air premiered at the Fremantle Underwater Film Festival in October 2026 and is now being submitted to other short film festivals.

Noemi and Prema are also part of In the Wake of Giants, so the film shows how we work with collaborators as well as what we make.
